Conventional fire alarm devices are often used with security alarm systems to detect smoke, heat & carbon monoxide. It is best to use 2-wire fire alarm devices, rather than 4-wire fire alarm devices, with professional hardwire security alarm systems. All 2-wire fire alarm devices are wired in series connected to the same programmable input. DC voltage is ran to power devices and complete convention device notification signal circuit.
